Double-tab on results on chrome

  • Hello,
    I am using ajax search lite on my site, and I think it is a great plugin, however I have one problem that I hope you can help fix. I find it a bit annoying that I have to double-click on results to get to a page when searching, so is there anyway this can be changed so that a single-click is enough? I know that it is there on mobile platforms so that the keyboard disappears on the first click, but I am using PC with Google Chrome as browser, but still the box with the results have to be focused first at the first click, before I can actually click to get to a page. It is not only happening on my website, but also when I try the demo.

    Hi!

    Does your screen by any chance work as a touch screen?

    Mobile detection with javascript is one hell of a task these days. There is not one single reliable solution that works in all cases, it drives me crazy.

    Anyways, I’m going to roll out a minor update within a few days with a different mobile detection function, and also the double tap will be optional. I hope you can wait a few days, until it’s ready ??

    Yes, I am using a computer with touch screen, so that is probably the problem. But it sounds great, thanks! ??
