Double redirection broke the final URL

    I set up a redirection today, call it /a which redirects to another redirection /b on the same site and which should redirect to a link on Amazon’s S3. However, somewhere along the way the process is appending a long google analytics argument to the final URL as a result of which the final link is completely broken.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Redirection will not append anything to the URL. Either it is part of the source URL you are carrying forward or something else is adding it.

    Thanks for the fast feedback — it’s definitely happening as part of the double redirection – when I changed it to just go directly to the external site, the google stuff was not appended to it. I will do some more experiments.

    Can you post a URL? Most likely it is another plugin.
