Double quotes in event category description

    Hi – thank you very much for a great plugin – I love it!

    I’ve just come across a small glitch in the front end calendar. I’d added a url (in the form ) in a category description. The front end calendar would then not load. The console error was something like ‘missing }’ and referred to the ‘var eventorganiser = {long json string}’ CDATA. I’ve removed the url and all is fine

    Glad you like the plug-in :).

    The category description doesn’t appear anywhere on the calendar, so I don’t see why that should effect things. Also I haven’t been able to replicate the problem.

    If you enable WP_DEBUG is the error message any more informative? Additionally, how are you using the shortcode, and are you running any code which my interfere with the operation of the plug-in?
