Double posting to Twitter & not posting to Facebook

  • Hi there,

    I’ve installed this and the tumblr autoposting plugin and both seem to be double posting to the social networks.

    I bought the smap facebook api and everything seems to be verified and working but no post is showing up on Facebook. I have a feeling that Facebook might be deleting due to double posting – but I’m really just guessing / drawing at straws.

    In the logs it says success twice:

    1045 269 – The Hermit Facebook 2018/09/26 3:38:51 PM Success
    1045 269 – The Hermit Facebook 2018/09/26 3:38:38 PM Success

    1045 269 – The Hermit Twitter 2018/09/26 3:38:53 PM statuses/update_with_media : Success.

    1045 269 – The Hermit Twitter 2018/09/26 3:38:40 PM statuses/update_with_media : Success.

    I’ve tested it a few times now, I’ve turned it off saved and then turned it back on and saved again with no luck.

    I turned Gutenberg off and that seems to have fixed the double posting problem.

    It still doesn’t post to a Facebook page for me even though it says it has and I got the smap api

    I’m not really sure how else to troubleshoot it

    I’m facing the same issue with Facebook. Posts publish to Facebook twice.

    We will fix this issue and update the plugin as soon as possible.
