DOUBLE POSTING ON LINKEDIN

This issue comes up from time time. Normally this occurs when someone publishes the post (our plugin will typically share to social media on first publish), and then someone clicks the “Share Now” button either before or after first publish, and this will share the same post twice. So just remember that providing the “Don’t share this post” is not checked, if you publish the post, it will share to social media at this time, and then if you click the “Share Now” button any additional times, that will share to social media those additional times as well.

If that is not the issue, it’s possible that there could be a settings issue, in which case it is best to delete the plugin settings (done from the Help tab in the plugin settings) and then re-authenticate the plugin again and that will solve the issue.

Thank you for your quick response! As no one is clicking the “Share Now” button after the initial post, we will simply reset the settings.

UPDATE: We went to the HELP Tab and clicked on the link provided with “How do I clear all plugin settings Please click here” and nothing happens. Cleared cache, etc., tried again and nothing happens when clicking on the link?
