Double Order Issue

Hi,
Currently having an issue where when a customer purchases a subscription, shortly after a second blank order is created and marked as “on hold”. This blank subscription states the following:
“This order has been created to renew subscription…”
However, the order ID that it is trying to renew does not exist.
I am unsure as to why this is happening, I have tested it with multiple payment options and multiple products.
