    Hello circmark,

    The double-opt feature is something that is controlled by MailChimp.com as they are the once who send verification emails. If you have multiple email accounts I would suggest trying with all. We are aware of an issue where the verification emails sometimes is not received even after few hours. Are you trying with an email on custom domain or a free email account such as gmail?

    I don’t think email delivery is the issue because I do get the confirmation email if I turn off double opt in. Nothing in spam folder. This has been broken long enough that I don’t think the issue is with mailchimp. I think they would have fixed it by now. I have tried multiple email addresses

    I’d like to emphasis again, that “Email Verification” emails are sent by MailChimp.com and not by our plugin. To confirm, I have just tested it myself and I faced no issue. Once your website goes online, do share with us so we could test further.

    If your plugin was communicating with mailchimp correctly I would expect mailchimp to be sending me those emails. Anyways, I’m dumping your plugin since it clearly doesn’t work.

    Unfortunately, I’m having the same issue as circmark. In addition, when I test the subscribe, it refreshes the page instead of just giving the check your email page smoothly.

    Hello TheChicSpy, I would request you to create a new ticket so we could assist you personally. Regarding the refresh, the page would refresh when you submit the form. If you wish to have AJAX functionality you could purchase our PRO version.

    Lastly if you do have a website online, I would request you to share your URL so I could test your form.

    I already did using “me @ harishchouhan . com”. I got the confirmation email within seconds and I also verified. Please check your list and let me know if my email is added. My colleague tested the same.

    Hey TheChicSpy,

    My colleagues name would be “Danny” the developer of this plugin. I would suggest waiting for a while, as trying to submit same email multiple times to MailChimp.com might have another set of issues. Better would to test with different emails and to wait for few hours to see if the email comes.

    It looks like Danny’s email did not get added. So I’m not sure what happened. But your email came through. I read the mailchimp page from the link you posted as well.
