double opt in email settings

    I have problem with WordPress, i am using mailchimp plugin and my double opt in email confirmation still be sent out even if the settings are turned off inside mailchimp, i have contacted them and they told me that a 3rd party is interfering and sending the double opt-in. I need to locate the opt in settings within WordPress, because it is WordPress causing this problem…

    Hello,

    You can disable “Double Opt-in” from our form. You will find this setting by going to “MC4WP > Forms” menu in your WordPress admin.

    Thank you it worked out, now if whenever visitor subscribes and i want automatic email to be sent to his email inbox with welcoming text and discount code, i need to subscribe to Mailchimp, for example with essential plan i will be able to send 5,000 automatic emails, correct ?
