• Hey,

When new subscribers sign up to receive newsletters thru the website sign up form, they don’t receive the double opt-in sign op confirmation email, if they use an edge browser. Not even in spam.

What could be the reason? I would assume that Mailpoet is compatible with all browsers as it is so widely used.

We are likewise experiencing subscribers reporting that links to the manage subscription page is not working. I am suspecting that it might also be an Edge problem. I can not confirm that though.

So far it appears to be working completely fine in other browsers.

I hope you can help, either by fixing the problem if its with MailPoet or pointing me in the right direction if it is a more local problem with our email provider. We are using MailPoet sending service trough WordPress though.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

When new subscribers sign up to receive newsletters thru the website sign up form, they don’t receive the double opt-in sign op confirmation email, if they use an edge browser. Not even in spam.

This is odd! I don’t see how Edge would somehow affect MailPoet Sending Service so I believe the issue is some HTML/CSS conflict preventing Edge users from successfully submitting their email address through the form.

Do you know if they see any error messages or unexpected behaviors when using the form?

We are likewise experiencing subscribers reporting that links to the manage subscription page is not working. I am suspecting that it might also be an Edge problem. I can not confirm that though.

That’s also odd. Can you send us a copy of you System Info found in MailPoet > Help?

Make sure to remove any sensitive information (e.g. email addresses) before sending it over.

    Thanks!

    Hey, thanks for replying ??

I don′t believe that they experience any problems using the form, as we have tested that, and the subscriber was recorded on the list of subscribers, as unconfirmed of course.

    Hi there @vickysonne,

Thanks for that info. I had a look at your site and wanted to test your sign-up form, but I couldn’t find it on any of the public pages. Has it perhaps been deactivated? If not, can you share a link to a page that includes the form for testing?

In the meantime, I did check your account in our system and I can see that there has been 100% delivery of emails in the past week. This means that there were no bounces, spam reports, or other issues from our end that might explain why the emails were not getting through. Our statistics show that every sent email was received and an acknowledgement was sent by the receiving inbox.

If you have a test email address you have been using where you do not see the confirmation email arriving, please share that as well as I can search our system for additional detail on that specific email address to verify that the email was sent and received through our sending service.
