    Hello,

    I am Using the WooCommerce Subscribers plugin and due to legal reasons in the EU we need to activate double opt-in action.
    When I add the widget in the side bar, new users can sign up for the newsletter and they immediatly appear in the “manage subscribers” list. They don’t receive the confirmation email.

    Any idea what i am doing wrong?

    I’ll assist you with the problem you experienced. I’m testing on our side now to see if I can duplicate it then I will revert back to you asap.

    We tested on this side but cannot duplicate it.

    Can you please check under Newsletters > Configuration > Subscribers > Subscription Behaviour if double opt-in (Require Activation) setting is turned on?

    Then check under Newsletters > Mailing Lists if the list is set to double opt-in?

    Thank you for the reply!

    The Required Confirmation option was turned on (I had found and checked that before), but the Mailing List didn’t require double opt-in. That fixed my problem.
