Double naming for site after install

    Hi All,
    I have used duplicator successfully on a number of sites. However I am trying to move https://www.meta5.us to an internal site called pi.meta5.com in preparation for moving from the hoster to this internal site so we can rename the site https://www.meta5.com.

    pi.meta5.com is one of those small rasberry machines and we are testing to see if it will run the WP site.

    When we do the install it seems to work fine. When it comes to the update step and we try to log in we get an address line of

    “pi.meta5.compi.meta5.com”

    So we are getting a repeat of the address line. I can see no reason why this would be happening. I was wondering if anyone has seen this before. I browsed thought the entries here and did not see similar.

    Any assistance greatly appreciated.

    Hi Cory,
    thanks for your reply. I am sorry the email notification went to my spam folder even though I have had others that have not.

    Where do I create a support thread? I thought this was all that was available. I am not that experienced in WP.

    I can send you the installer.php file if you want. The rasberry machine is, apparently, a small linux machine on a credit card sized board. I have never heard of them and this is the first time we are trying to put a WP site on such a machine. So there are plenty of “unknowns” going on this time.

    I have used duplicator on a number of sites and it has worked well. The only other trouble I am having is with Everleap (hoster in the US) and it fails with a 502 which is IIS server complaining. We have not been able to sort that out yet.

    Hey Joschua,

    In the plugin goto ‘Help’ > ‘Get Support’ then look for ‘Basic Help’. Submit a ticket there and refer to this thread…

    This particular issue can be related to the section in this question about “Double Pathing” which involves looking at your wp-config.php file
