    Hello there,

I’ve been a long time user of your newsletter plugin and although not a heavy user, I’ve been enjoying using it.

Now we are testing out our new website [build from scratch] on a sub domain which will be moved to the current site location soon.

In the current setup we are using MP2 and I would like to import lists and subscribers to the new test website.

Maybe this is also a good time so migrate to MP3?

I can read all about migrating from MP2 to MP3, but nothing from one site to another.

    What is the best procedure?

    Adventurous greetings,
    Coen

  • Hi Coen,

You need to transfer MailPoet 2 tables to the new site’s database, reinstall MailPoet 3 from scratch (Settings->Advanced) and it will give you an option to migrate lists/subscribers.

    Regards,
    MailPoet Team.

    Hey there,

Successfully transferred the MailPoet 2 tables and migrated to MailPoet 3.

Now trying to setup an account on your site [strangely I cannot find any previous account info], but I am getting an error on your end:

Could not sign-up: email is not available.

Temporary I switched back to the Sendgrid option and all of a sudden I must enter a API key. [why is there no documentation?]

Also after migrating and basic testing. I see that the new sign up is not named propperly:

    Hello [user:firstname | default:friend]

    Doesn’t work?

    Adventurous greetings,
    Coen
