    Hello,

Your links URL point to the beta-phase page, which does not exist. Your server redirects all https://beatballaballa.com/beta-phase/ requests to https://beatballaballa.com/, that’s why clicking the link makes the browser’s URL change (it goes to a different page).

You should remove the beta-phase part from your links. For example, change:

    https://beatballaballa.com/beta-phase/#faq

    to:

    https://beatballaballa.com/#faq

    Let me know

    Got it Manos,

(beta-phase is the selected homepage in wp admin – reading: static page)

tried you suggestion again just to confirm that both
    https://beatballaballa.com/#faq
    #faq
work like a charm as expected.

The issure though remains since neither of the two mentioned urls work on mobile or when the browers window is smaller than 1024 and the hamburger menu sets in.
To make sure any instance works I need to use:

    https://beatballaballa.com/beta-phase/#faq

    Thank you again, Mark

    No problem ??

Both https://beatballaballa.com/#faq and #faq work on mobile. The problem is that your mobile menu stays open when you click any link in it.

You can test that the links (e.g. https://beatballaballa.com/#faq) work by doing the following:
    1.Open the mobile menu
2.Click the “Fragen u. Antworten” link (with URL https://beatballaballa.com/#faq)
    3.Close the mobile menu

You’ll see that the page has scrolled to the correct position. You just couldn’t see it because the menu stayed opened covering everything else (the whole page).

The fact that the mobile menu stays opened (when a link is clicked), is not an issue with “Page scroll to id”. It’s an issue with the mobile menu itself.

This said, I can help you solve the issue by providing a custom js script that you place in your template.

Since a lot o users have this issue with mobile menus, I’ve made a post about it here:

    https://manos.malihu.gr/how-to-close-mobile-menu-with-page-scroll-to-id/

Check it out and if you’re interested, I can send you the code you need for your site ??
