double lightbox function

    Hi there,

    I have been trying to embed a video inside of a photo thumbnail, and I’m really close but something keeps happening which I can’t figure out.

    When you click on the thumbnail, the video opens and takes up the whole page. When you close this, a secondary floating lightbox pops up with the video inside it. I just want the second thing to happen: when the thumbnail gets clicked, a floating window opens with the video, and doesn’t take up the entire screen.

    never mind, I figured it out.

    how did you resolve this.. ??? im having the same issue…

    I deleted the lightbox plugin and then re-insatalled it manually by dragging the files into the plugins folder of my server. I discovered that I was only getting the “double light box” when I uploaded the files via wordpress. But I still can’t figure out how to make the lightbox float in its own little box…right now it just takes up the whole screen.

    did it your way but still got the 2 light boxes … however after i re-installed the plugin manually i replaced the rel=”wp-video-lightbox” attribute to rel=”lightbox” and that worked.. thanks
