Double language code (/en/en) in URL when clicking on home

I’ve created a temporary fix using a couple of redirects in the .htaccess file. It’s not ideal but it corrects the issue until the plugin is fixed. I added this to the file.

# Redirect old file path to new file path
Redirect /en/en/ https://www.thesiteurl.com/en/
Redirect /fr/fr/ https://www.thesiteurl.com/fr/

I changed my theme in the interim (I wanted a responsive theme).

After the change the problem was gone.

I’ve changed “bloginfo(‘wpurl’);” instead “bloginfo(‘url’);” and it worked for me.
