Double images showing

  • I’m having problems in that 2 images (a tiny thumbnail and a smallish one) are showing up with each post. I actually would LOVE if I were able to not have words (other than the title) show up at all, besides the featured image. Otherwise it starts to show the recipe but it’s as a list rather than a short paragraph. I’d love just a good clear pic and the name of the recipe.

    Because I’m using the WP Ultimate Recipes plugin (for mostly recipe posts) I have both a featured image AND an image that shows up in the post. Unfortunately, it seems they are both showing up in Mailchimp.

    And none of the pictures seem to be clear, they are all very fuzzy.

    Suggestions?

    Kate, do you have a link to your feed so I can see what images you have going into it? If the recipes plugin is already adding the featured image to the feed, you would maybe want to change the plugin featured image to “No Image”. If you prefer the plugin image option, you’d need to figure out how the other image is being added and remove it.

    As far as the images being fuzzy, I suspect that is a MailChimp option. Please check the “Note for [new] MailChimp users” in the FAQ. and see if that helps.
