  • Hi Horrorphilia J,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

The problem is that you also have added the featured image manually to your posts and as the theme displays the featured image automatically, you have duplicate images. Here you can read more about this topic: How to use featured images in WordPress.

The free version of MH Magazine does not have options included to disable the featured image on posts, these options are included in the premium version of the theme.

So in the free version you can only get rid of the featured image with some code modifications: Duplicate images.

Ok thanks I didnt realize featured image always showed up in my post. Is there a way to always have the featured image centered instead of align left? Is there also a way to default the featured image to a bigger size?

Actually you’ll just need to upload images with proper size (at least 620 x 264px) and the featured image will fill the whole space, as you can see in the theme demo.

Here you can find information about customizing the featured image: How to customize image dimensions in WordPress. If needed, you also should have a look at the WordPress Codex.

Thanks for all your help. I’ll be purchasing the premium version shortly. Looks like my best solution for now is to just disable the featured image with code modification.
