Double images in home and posts

  • Hello I’ve imported my blog from a previously hosted blog on wordpress.com and moved to a godaddy hosting.

    My first problem is that post displays double images, in home and in single post page.

    I thought it was the “featured image” activated but I removed the flag, save and the double image is still displaying.

    So I tried adding this line to the css editor

    “.single_post_image { display: none !important; }”
    but nothing changed.
    So I changed temporarily the theme to a different and the problem is still there.

    During the process of importing the blog, it got stopped different times and I had to resume it, did it cause the problem ?

    – Changed to which theme?

    – Have tried changing to 2014?

    – Also, have you tried deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).

    I tried 2 or 3 different themes, including the mentioned 2014 but the problem is still there. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins, but nothing changed. We wrote a new post where the problem is NOT present, but in all other posts we still get two images.
    Any new idea before erasing the whole blog and trying to import all posts again ?
