    Hi, After sending my .txt file via mail and fetching with postie I have two <HTML and two <BODY tags within my source code.

    That′s the first HTML tag (created from WordPress):
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html lang=”de-DE”>

    And that is the second one (seems to be created from postie):
    <div class=”entry-content”>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN” “https://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd”&gt;
    <?xml encoding=”utf-8″ ?><html><body><div class=”postie-post”>

    Can you please help?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Looking at the source of this page there are a number of issues.

    https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lotto-6-aus-49.de%2Ftoto-spielplan-der-13er-ergebniswette-und-der-auswahlwette-6-aus-45-vom-19-03-2022-bis-20-03-2022%2F

    Postie just takes what you send it, so if you send it malformed html that is what it will use to create the post.

    Good morning Allen, thanks for reply.
    I will check my source upfront and clean the issues. If there are still issues afterwards I will come back to this thread.

    Cheers Asterios

    Hi Allen,
    I checked the Warnings and Errors. All of them are created from WordPress- and Theme and ends before the post-content is starting (Starting in line 631 with: <?xml encoding=”utf-8″ ?><html><body><div class=”postie-post”> <style>.labeled………and so on
    When I send my posts via mail, I add a text-file and leave the mail-body and subject empty.
    My text-file starts with:
    #[TOTO]TOTO Spielplan der 13er Ergebniswette und der Auswahlwette 6 aus 45 vom 19.03.2022 bis 20.03.2022#:start <style>.labeled……….and so on
    It seems that Postie adds in front of my article (post) ==> <html><body><div class=”postie-post”>
    Can you please check that?

    Sorry the WordPress forum doesn’t always notify me when there is a new message.

    Please install the Support AddOn and follow the instructions for collecting logs and sending them to me.
