Double GDPR Placeholder / GDPR Message

    Hi,

    The latest update (8.0.29 – 2020-12-11 – HIGH PRIORITY) shows a double placeholder, in our case. Or a double GDPR Compliance message.

    The placeholder hooks into the message.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention and my apologies for the trouble experienced.

    We are currently debugging the issue on our side in an attempt to replicate the issue. Once we have identified the cause of the issue, we will prepare and release an update which resolves the issue permanently.

    We recently changed the way some elements are initialized to better support WordPress 5.6 and it appears this may be causing the GDPR initializer to run more than once.

    I will update this thread as soon as I have a bit more information in this regard.

    Thank you again for your continued time on this, we do appreciate it.

    We have just released the update (8.0.30) which should resolve the issue with GDPR notices being shown twice in some instances.

    Please do let me know if this resolved the issue on your site as well?
