Double Event Description

    Hi

    Since past update of the plugin, the description of events (future and past, already created or that we are creating) have the description twice display on the front page.
    I have tried on 2 different websites, both have WP v4.9, Events Manager V 5.8.1.1 and the 2 websites have 2 different themes.
    Have you ever heard of this issue ?

    What do you have set for “Single event page format” under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events?

    FYI, excerpt on both websites are empty

    That’s expected behaviour because #_EVENTEXCERPT and #_EVENTNOTES output the same content, the only difference is #_EVENTEXCERPT will shorten it beyond a certain lenghth.

    The solution is to do what you’ve done and remove one of those placeholders.
