Double entry in Media Library since last update

Thanks for contacting our support. We have tested this functionality on our servers, it’s working fine. Please install file manager on some other site to replicate this issue.

OK. I use the Plugin “Load from Server” to register images in WP. No matter what is set in preferences (Enable Files Upload to Media Library? is unchecked) I always get additional images in Media Library (…/2019/07/..).
This is the problem.

Please correct the annoying behavior: no matter what is set in preferences files always go to the media library.

I do still have the same problem. No matter if the checkbox “Enable Files Upload to Media Library?” is checked or not I always get an image registered in the media library by the plugin automatically. The checkbox does not seem to work.
I want to have images registered using the plugin “Add from Server” only so that I have them reside in a predefined folder not dependent on the upload date. I always get two images registered and need to manually delete the on registered automatically by “WP File Manager”. I do not know if buying the PRO version would solve the problem. Anyway I still do hope to get an answer to my queation! And it would be OK if you would charge me for the solution. It would save me a lot of work.
