Double Description on brand page after updates.

After Worpress updated to the latest, and Woocommerce updated to 3.0 I noticed that the brand pages were posting double descriptions…

I turned off the descriptions in the settings and only 1 showed, also turned off brand logo as a test, it disappeared.

Turned brand logo back on, left description off and it shows 1 description even though they are turned off…

where would I find they layout for the brand pages. I checked some of the code in the plugin editor and it only listed one description listing…

any ideas as to why it would be listing the decriptions twice? thanks.
