    Hey,

I use the latest version of wordpress and the wordpress popular posts plugin. I made the default installation, did no modifications and let display the results sorted by view count of the posts on a single site with the following code:
    [wpp range=all stats_date=1 stats_date_format=’j. F Y’ limit=20 stats_views=1 order_by=views]

Now I am confused because of the results. There are always even numbers. Would be a huge coincidence. Could it be possible that the plugin dous a double count for one view?

I tried to figure out a solution but could not find any information in the FAQs and the support board.

    Hi,

    finally I found a solution.
The problem is somehow related to the caching of the view counter. I fixed it by activating the feature “Widget via Ajax” at the plugin settings.

These hint should be added to the plugin FAQ’s!
