Double backup with Dropbox

    Hello everyone,

    I have a question about backing up to Dropbox. I trigger the backup myself externally using a cron job. Strangely enough, however, I get 2 backups in my Dropbox folder. These are each delayed by approx. 20 seconds.

    The problem exists on all my WordPress sites. The job itself was only created once and the cron job is only carried out once.#

    Any ideas? Thx in advance!

    Hi @fitnsexy,

    i think something is wrong with the WP-Cron on your site, maybe try to set the job to run with a link, then pass the link to system Cron or any online Cron service.

    You can do it in the Schedule tab of your job config

    Thanks for the feedback.
    As I already wrote, I already use an external link to a cron job from my host and not the one integrated in WordPress.
    Is it definitely due to the cron job? If I access the URL manually, only a backup is created.

    In the meantime, I contacted the host. The “problem” seems to be with the cron job itself, because manual backups via link worked.
