dot-b theme ~ image flashing

Hi,
I am using the Dot-B theme and like it, except for the fact that the images “flash” when the cursor moves over certain areas of the page. I think that this is rather distracting and would like to turn that feature off if possible. I’ve written to the theme author but no response. Here’s my photo blog ‘My Visual Menu‘.

Does anyone have any ideas?
