Dos Attack Broke Dashboard

  • My host (Hostmonster) had a dos attack and ever since I cannot use the Dashboard. I’m not receiving any RSS feeds or WordPress News, etc. I contacted them and they said that even though my site is accessible to a viewer, the server is still undergoing a dos attack and that is why I am not receiving any rss feeds. Does this sound correct? I’m just wondering if I should find another host.

  • yes, if theyre being dos’d the network is probably already saturated and theyre trying to firewall things as well. either one of those happening would affect your feeds.
