I want new users to create their own passwords. My issue is that in the registration page they have to use one of the auto-generated ones.

I searched for an option to change that but I can’t find it. Is it possible?

    Hi @marirv,

Despite having the ability to add advanced features like reCAPTCHA and 2FA to forms, Wordfence does not control the user creation process in your WordPress site. You may have an additional user management plugin, which also includes online storefronts, so there may be a plugin controlling this behavior – in which case you’d need to consult with their support channels.

You may be able to see if anybody has experienced issues allowing users to choose their own passwords on registration by searching the Fixing WordPress or Everything Else WordPress support forums.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Thank you! I was so sure it was a Wordfence thing I didn’t even think it was something else.

I made a test instalation with no plugins, and it keeps generating strong passwords for new users, so I guess it was a WordPress thing all along.
