We apologize that you’re having a hard time getting the plugin set up for your requirements. Having read the email you sent to support and your messages in the support forum, we know that you were having trouble with the radio button control type for the sub-categories. By their very nature, you cannot uncheck or click off of radio buttons. That is how they are designed to work. If you’d like to give people the ability to unselect a sub-category, then you can change the “Sub-Categories Control Type” option (in the “Sidebar” area of the “Styling” tab) to “Checkbox”.
Also, unfortunately, once you leave to go to a different site, we can’t guarantee that the chosen filtering will remain intact once you come back, even if you’re pressing the back button in your browser. Our plugin can only control the behaviour of the catalog when you’re in the catalog (on one of the catalog pages). Once you go to a different website, you’re no longer on one of the catalog pages and, as such, all the communication between plugin and database stops.
