• They made some kind of major update to the product that required me to run a database update of some kind. Since then, I have seen repeated 404s on my events pages. The advice I got was to reset permalinks. That fixed it – for a day or so. I had to keep doing this every other day until finally a support person suggested disabling a cache setting at my host (WPEngine). That worked – until I realized that all of my Virtual Events now have no “Register” buttons and no longer do I have any Virtual Events fields in the back end – despite also updating the paid Virtual Events add on. My advice is to not use these plugins – they seem to be having major issues – quite a number of people complaining about the same issue.

    Hey Sean,

Leah from the TEC team here. I’m sorry you ran into this series of issues, it definitely sounds frustrating. I checked out your site and I can see that Virtual Events is working and the events are showing the “Register” button properly.

Were you able to resolve the issues? Our support team reached out on Monday and again today, so I wanted to check in case you weren’t receiving those emails. It looks like things are working for you now, but I wanted to make sure and see if there’s anything else we can help with to get things back on track here.

    Best,

    Leah
