Don’t Upgrade to new Version 6, look for another plugin.

Normally I’m not big on commenting in general, but this is so outrageous…

I’ve really liked the simplicity of the old version for many years, and i’m all for incremental improvements with updates but the new 6.xx version is really a completely different plugin that I never wanted and would have never installed.

The stupidly bloated, obtrusive interface and curious need for very deep google permissions (What are you going to do with all my google account data?) definitely puts me off. I know it’s one trend to make plugin interfaces more and more flashy to sell (wp smush and the like) but it’s a trend I strongly dislike. How about making plugins integrate into WordPress seamlessly instead of everyone inventing their own different (often worse) interface?

For now I’ll be keeping the old 5er version and will be looking elsewhere.

With your invasive and destructive way of forcing your other plugin onto the users, you deserve a one-star and hopefully that will be the end of this plugin.

I hope the original plugin-dev got enough money from you, when you bought it…
