    Hi, can you explain what is the “Exclude email sending For” setting for?
    I can’t find any documentation on this feature, is not included in the video, or your website…

    I do not understand why you want to include or exclude the sending of the emails for orders that are already made… I thought this plugin was for recovering abandoned carts not already made orders ?? this is confusing.

    Can you please add more information?

    Allow me to provide some clarification on this matter. The plugin marks an order as recovered when an abandoned order is placed and the order status is either “processing” or “completed.” By default, the plugin is configured to mark orders as recovered for these statuses.

    If you wish to mark orders as recovered and prevent future emails for other order statuses, such as “On Hold” (as BASC has the default WooCommerce order status set to “On Hold”), you’ll need to select the “On Hold” option in the plugin’s settings. However, it’s worth noting that this configuration isn’t necessary unless you have a specific use case for the order status.

    Thank you for the clarification, but I still have some doubts…

    I understand that the plugin marks orders as recovered when they reach some status as “processing” or “completed” but the setting “Exclude email sending For” what emails are we talking about or excluding???

    Or when you wrote “If you wish to mark orders as recovered and prevent future emails for other order statuses, such as “On Hold”” what are those future emails?

    The plugin keeps sending emails for cart recovery even when the order is placed?

    Thank you for your response.

    Regarding the email notifications, I’m referring to the emails sent by our plugin.

    When a user enters their information during checkout but doesn’t proceed further, our plugin captures this as an abandoned cart. Additionally, there are other scenarios where a user may click on “Place Order,” but the payment isn’t completed due to various reasons, such as a failed transactions and payment pending. In such cases, our plugin also considers it as an abandoned cart, based on the order status of the order and settings configured under “Exclude email sending for.”
