Don’t understand responsive height for external domain

I am sorry but I am confused. I want to include a web page on an external site. This page is responsive. I am able to get 100% width but not 100% height. I am not able to put anything of code on the external site. So am I lost then and is it impossible to get 100% height if I can not get the external site to include the external js file?
