Don’t show the same item in different section of a page

Hi!
In my blog page I’ve used visual portfolio to add one section for 4 the most recent articles (regardless of category), one for 3 random articles of each category and one for all the other articles (filterable by category).

I’d like to not show the content of the first section in the others, the content of the second in the last and so on. Is there a way to do that?
