    Hi,

I want to use your plugin to show a popup on all pages after 5 seconds. This works perfectly. However if a visitor has dismissed the popup, then I want to set a cookie called dismiss-popup, which should make sure that the popup is not shown if the cookie is set. The cookie part is not working. The popup is shown on all pages after 5 seconds, eventhough the cookie is set.

My setup is like this: https://ibb.co/3FdbxLG

Any help would be much appreciated!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Dear @ugroove2,

You can simply use our “Popup showing limiation” option to hide the popup for the users who once see it. No need for extra cookies.
How to set Popup showing limitation

    Hi,

That does solve the showing limitation. However I have a floating button that should enable visitors to be shown the popup again if they press the floating button. This doesn’t work after adding the popup limitation. Is there any way to enable the button to show the popup again?

The floating button has the following HTML markup:
    <a class="sg-show-popup sgpb-popup-id-2715" data-sgpbpopupid="2715" data-popup-event="click" org_title="" title="">Show popup again</a>

    Dear @ugroove2,

    You can have separate popups.
Just clone your original popup, set the second one On click on your floating button, and don’t set any limitation on this second popup.

    Hi,

I just would like to know what is the exact setting to use in “Popup showing limiation” so that when user has dismissed the popup once by clicking on the close button, the popup will not show up again until the cookie has expired.

    Can you help?
