    Hi, guys. ??

I’ve been trying the new Woocommerce trolley abandonment service for some time now, but either I can’t make it work or there’s some problem.

Practically if a user is logged in (or in the mailing list?) and adds products to the cart and abandons it then you start to send the mail, but I tried with different browsers and for guest users does not capture the mail and obviously does not send.

I’ve obviously followed the guide on the site, checked the cookies etc… I’m using the latest version of MailPoet 3 New with the latest version of WooCommerce and WordPress. Now I’m turning to another plug-in, but if I could do everything from MailPoet it would be great.

    Thanks a lot, greetings!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @alessandro-bagalini,

This is actually intentional. For an abandoned cart email to be sent the user must be globally subscribed to one of your lists. Due to GDPR we can’t send an abandoned cart email to someone who has not opted-in to receive your emails.

    Thanks!

Really ? And what if we don’t care GDPR or any BS from idiot governments who know nothing about ecommerce ?

Can you clearly repeat that your plugin des not allow to send Abandoned cart messages to users that are not subscribed in a mailing list ? And of course not to people who are also not registered on website ?

If confirmed, this is wrong and you should let people do what they want with their website.

    Thank you.
