    I have a free membership.
I need users who register to be manually validated before being able to view restricted content. For this I use the new user approve plugin.

The problem is that Restrict Content sends a verification email to the person who registers and when that person clicks on the verification link, it already lets them see the content.

Is there any way to stop that email from being sent?

I checked in the settings, and checked the options “disable for members” and “disable for admin” on free subscriptions and paid subscriptions, but the verification email still continues to be sent

Or is there any way that when registering for the free membership, they remain in a pending state?

    Thanks

Can you share just a bit more about how you have things set up? Does you new user sign up with and RC registrations form for a plan that happens to be free free of cost? Additionally, can you share what version of PHP are you running on your server?

Hi jkleinithemes! Thanks for your answer.

That’s right, the new user signs up with RC registration form and for a free plan.

    The php version is 7.4.33

    Thanks again
