    After updating plugins and WP today, sending emails via SMTP has stopped working

    Hi @nandomerino,

    Thanks for reaching out! This error message suggests that you have configured the Easy WP SMTP plugin using one email address ([email protected]), but you are trying to send emails using another email address ([email protected]).

    To resolve the issue, please update your “from email address” under the Easy WP SMTP -> Settings page by adding your authenticated email address.

    I had the same configuration (sender address not the same as smtp-address) and that worked for years up to version 2.2.0. After updating to 2.3.0 this suddenly stopped working. Is this a ‘feature’ of the new version?
