Don't scan OLD files!

  • We have a blog that we deleted 100’s of images. (via FTP)

    We also deleted the posts that uses those.

    But now when we try to regenerate the images, we noticed for some reason it is still trying to scan for the old files/ But keep in mind we intentiionally and manually deleted those already.

    My question is it a flaw that it is trying to regenerate missing files? Basically I think it’s scanning for all files since we started the blog, even ones that are gone.

    Any input is appreciated.
