Sorry to ask a stupid question, but, I don’t quite get how it all pulls together. Could you add a couple of screenshots from the front page (the reader’s view point)? The back end looks confusing so it might help to see the front and get an idea of what it looks like from the other side.

You’re probably going to get the best idea of how our plugin works (from both a front-end and back-end view) by looking at the quick tutorial series by OSTraining.

    https://www.ostraining.com/class/pods/

The front-end is honestly just like you’ve view a ‘post’ with it’s featured image and ‘content’ in the content editor box, but now you have additional fields (ie if you were looking at an Author, you might have their list of books, some contact details for that author, etc.) that’s all really up to you. We give you a simple method of getting the content collected in the back-end admin and a fairly simple method of displaying it in your theme. The sky is literally the limit as to how you decide what it’s going to look like on the front-end. Folks have used us to create Real Estate websites, Project Portfolios, Staff Listings & Directories, all manner of things.

Haven’t heard back from you on this one, so I’m going ahead and marking it resolved. If you still have questions or need clarification, please join our Slack Chat at https://pods.io/chat/
