Don't pick up link names instead it shows "Undefined"

  • Hello,
    We are using this app WordPress to Buffer.
    Problems:
    1. For Facebook and Google plus all the links are long and do not pick up the link names. All posts shows up as “undefined”.
    2. Once you post it live is the same thing link is working but it shows “undefined”
    3. Some posts are uploaded with html syntaxes.

    Could you please help me identify the reasons behind it and how we may fix them? Thank you.

  • Colin here – developer at Buffer. It looks like we are receiving a media[link] parameter here in the request, but no media[title] not media[description] and that is resulting in this behaviour.

    The best bet here might be to simply provide the text field – we will automatically populate the various media parameters in that case when appropriate.
