Don't know what I am doing!

I am a little overwhelmed. If I had some money I would just pay someone to do it.

Unfortunately, I am pretty much broke, so you all get to deal with me. ??

I already have a blog through Bravenet (pro – paid service) and I want to move all my posts over to my new WordPress. Is that possible? If so and you proceed to tell me, please speak “dumb English” ??

Do I need to move my old blog to my WP before I move it to my host? or after?

Can I move my WP to my host before it goes live? (I still haven’t figured out how to transfer my domain name over to my host – yeah, pathetic)?

Any and all advice you can offer is greatly appreciated!
