    I don’t believe AddFunc Mobile Detect will serve for that purpose. You’re welcome to try it if you feel you’ll be able to pull yourself out of any technical difficulties it may present. I imagine the worst that would happen is you’ll get a redirect loop and your website won’t load. To fix that, I think you could still log directly into the backend and change your Mobile Detect settings or deactivate the plugin altogether. If you can’t log in because the redirect loop is blocking you, you’d have to deactivate the plugin (probably all of your plugins) by manually editing your database (surely you can search the web on how to do that if needed).

    But this plugin was not made for the purpose you described above and I don’t think it would work. Sorry. Hope this at least helps narrow down your selection.

    You have a good idea though. This will be considered for a possible future release.
