Don't escape single quotes when posting to third party service

I am having the same issue – I need to be able to pass the single quote and have it received as a single quote. How can this be accomplished using this plugin?

O’Reilly needs to post as O’Reilly not O\’Reilly

Quickly off the top of my head – hook to ...service_post_filter with a low priority and call stripslashes_deep on the post array.

TL;DR: something like

add_filter(‘Forms3rdPartyIntegration_get_submission’, ‘fix_3rdparty_slashes’, 20, 2);
function fix_3rdparty_slashes($post, $form) {
return stripslashes_deep($post);
}

I’ve added this on line 463:
add_filter(‘Forms3rdPartyIntegration_get_submission’, ‘fix_3rdparty_slashes’, 20, 2);
function fix_3rdparty_slashes($post, $form) {
return stripslashes_deep($post);
}

What else do I need to do from this point?

@bganush – no that hook would go in a separate file, like functions.php or a standalone plugin. don’t change plugin files.

i think i’ll eventually build that in to my plugin, but for now it’s a ‘standalone’ solution.

I’m marking resolved as someone indicated on the GitHub issue that it worked.

Okay, anyone willing to try the fix I just made to the GitHub version and let me know if it breaks anything?

Sorry, I had forgotten to commit the changes to SVN as well as GitHub. Now live as v1.6.4.3 (actually resolved)
