We’re sorry you feel that way, re. the issues you raised
1) We require to subscribe, as it let’s us offer a better service, if you are concerned from email notifications, you can always set that off (we don’t send much in any case)
2) We do have premium features/plans, but we need to make a living somehow as we invest all our time in the app, hope that is understandable
3) We work in a saas model (much like gmail, etc), it offers a lot of advantages, what is the disadvantage that you find in that?
4) Since we have heavy clients on the system and we want to verify top performance, we have a cache mechanism that either updates when users vote when changes in the interface happen or in a timeout. So usually the update is immediate
