• Hi,

Often when I’m creating/testing a shortcode I have to update it many times in the process. Whenever I click Update, I have to wait for the update to take place (page load) at which point I’m presented with a new page where I have to click on the same shortcode again (another page load) to edit it.

It would be wonderful to have shortcode updates happen via ajax, or at least have the update button to you to the same (but updated) shortcode edit screen, much like when you click Update on a WordPress post editor page, you’re not taken to a list of all posts. This would significantly speed up the shortcode editor’s workflow.

Thanks, your plugin is super handy and I think this feature would make it even better.

  • I agree, and there are a lot of plugins like this.

In other words, when you save the Shortcoder, have it return you to the same shortcode editor instead of a blank editor for a new shortcode.
