• UPDATE: I submitted TWO refund tickets. The first one they asked for, which clearly I should not have received a refund according to their policy, and the second one was a security one because Wordfence happened to find a major problem with the plugin (which I’m sure they will fix by the time this gets published). At any rate, that meant I could get a refund based on security problems. I don’t care which reason they chose, they did give me a refund. So in the end, it worked out but for anyone else BUYER BEWARE: Do NOT buy this plugin until they say something will work & WPForms Pro is working out so much better.

The specific thing I needed the form to do wasn’t possible. It was not specified that what I wanted could be done or could not be done on the website. Turns out WP Forms pro can do it though.

Anyway, I bought the plugin to give it a try since conditional logic is exactly what I needed and after failing to get it to do what I wanted. I wanted to have the form change who the email is sent to (like a department) based on what the customers’ need was. I reached out to tech support and they eventually got back to me saying it wasn’t possible. So like any other company I thought since the plugin DIDN’T say it could or couldn’t do this very specific thing that needed conditional logic, I figured they would give a refund BUT they didn’t. Instead they gave me a very stupid and nonsense solution

“It is correct that the feature of sending emails to the different locations based on the Conditional logic is not available in MetForm, but using the Conditional Logic functionality of MetForm, you’ll be able to show or hide a field based on the selection, which is more likely to the chained fields… For now, I can request you give the MetForm plugin another shot and continue exploring its amazing features of the MetForm”

And with that, they refused to give a refund because I didn’t met their refund criteria:

    • Item support is promised but not provided
    • Items that have not been downloaded
    • Item has a security vulnerability

    Hello @abcdhello,

We are really sorry to see you in this position. But this is totally a misunderstanding and we have never refused to give you a refund. Kindly check the reply and you’ll see the section where we suggested you to read our refund policy and issue the refund request through our refund ticket channel as the conversation was running in a general ticket.

“But, if you’re not interested in it, then I’m requesting you to check the Refund Policies once by going to?this link (Refund Policy Link). If the reasons fit perfectly with our Refund Policy, kindly create a Refund ticket by going to the link (Refund Ticket Issue Link) mentioned below on the Refund Policy page. It will be forwarded to the respective team and you’ll receive an update directly from them.”

Above is the section where we requested you to issue the refund request through our refund channel.

After checking the reply again I hope you’ll understand that we just suggested you to create the refund request on our refund channel and didn’t deny it. Kindly create the refund request from the following link on the Ticket and we’ll surely proceed to refund if your condition met the refund policy.

I hope after realizing the misconception you’ll reconsider your review as we would never leave our valuable clients in the position you mentioned. Hope you understand.

    Regards,
    Moin
