    requires a horrible plugin which is unnecesary for anything but this yet it blats your site. shipping options themselves are just so basic it’s useless

    Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We value user feedback, and I’m pleased to inform you that in the next update, we will be removing the Jetpack requirement from WooCommerce Shipping & Tax. This means you’ll be able to use the plugin without needing the Jetpack Plugin.

    The next release should be available within 48 hours. (note that though the Jetpack notice may be shown, you can complete the setup without it. The Jetpack notice will be removed in a subsequent update)

    Regarding the shipping option being basic, please take a moment to submit a feature request for the functionalities you desire. Our developers use this to help them decide on which features to build next.

    Hello @brankica,

    I wanted to let you know that with the 2.4.0 release of the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin, Jetpack is no longer required. Like our WooPayments plugin, WooCommerce Shipping & Tax is now able to connect directly to WordPress.com on its own for the hosted services to work.

    We would be really happy if you could give the plugin another try and, if you find it makes sense, update your rating here. ??
