    Hey!

I created a function that edits the allowed tags that is in the kses file. So now the comments box does not accept any html tags.

However, if the user enters in a URL (e.g. https://www.google.com) WordPress turns this into a clickable link. I do not want this to happen, but I am unsure of how to fix this.

Is there an option to disable this or is there a script I need to edit in the editor? I have looked through the files but I can’t seem to find anything to stop this from happening.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Found a plugin to fix the problem. It’s called No Comment Links if anyone is having the same problem. I would love to know how to fix this without a plugin if anyone knows though. Thanks
