Donor Address & Funds

Go into the Form Options setting and turn that on. There are a whole bunch of options you can set.

Im in the same boat. The address of the donor doesn’t show in the dashboard under donors or donations. Is there something wrong I am doing? My form settings have everything enabled that should be. Please help as I need the addresses to send receipts

Tyler, is the address not showing up in the admin UI or on the user-facing form? My advice to @smuhamma was for the user-facing side. Also, is your Seamless Donations icon a gear or a palm tree?

It’s the admin UI. All I see is the email address from the donor and the amount donated. The settings are fine and displays fine on the user front.

This is a problem in 4.0.3 as well. On the admin side you cannot see donors addresses.

If you hit the Donors item in the left dashboard in the admin, you should see a table of donors with name, email, and amount donated.

If you click a donor’s name, it should take you to a detail page. On that detail page is donor information including address. When you go into the detail page, you’re not seeing the address in the detail information block?

I can see Employer, Occupation, ect. but no physical address. I can see the email address though.

You need to click the name of the donor. You’re seeing that on a table of donors, right? You need to click into the donor detail page (like you would click into a post from a page listing all posts).

I’m pretty sure that’s the case because Occupation and Employer aren’t shown on the detail page. They probably should be, now that I think about it, but they’re not… so it’s easier to tell where you are.

There is no physical address when clicking on the donor in the donor section, when trying to access more details, only email is listed.

I can see the address under 2 donations but no others. Included a test donation that I did to make sure.

Is there any commonality of the two donations you see? Were those donations made before or after upgrading from 3.3 to 4.0? I’m kind of reaching the point where it might be helpful for you to dump the database and send me a copy for me look at, but that’s up to you.

If that doesn’t work, I can try to code up a diagnostics routine and have you run that, but that will take me a few days to put together.

P.S. I’m taking the “resolved” tag off this post until we figure this out.

From what I can tell the only thing they have in common is that they are $5 donations. One was done before the upgrade to 4.x and the other was after the upgrade. I’d be glad to send a dump.

What format would you like and where do i send it

I actually downloaded the 4.0 release, never had a prior release. Im now on 4.0.3 and can make a test donation to see if it works, but it hasnt since the 4.0 release.
I’d send you a copy of the DB but to be honest, I’m not sure how.

Okay, that answers a lot. So it has nothing to do with the conversion process. Give me a few days to see if I can build an more complete diagnostic dump, so you don’t have to do that. I’m up to my ears in day-job stuff through tomorrow, but hopefully Wed or Thurs I can sit down and dig in to create some test code.
